These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the SELLFISHGLOBAL platform, including the website, mobile applications, and related services ("Platform"). The Platform is operated by SELLFISHGLOBAL.COM.

PLEASE READ THESE TERMS CAREFULLY. BY ACCESSING OR USING THE PLATFORM, YOU AGREE TO BE BOUND BY THESE TERMS AND OUR PRIVACY POLICY. IF YOU DO NOT AGREE, DO NOT USE THE PLATFORM.

1. Definitions

"User" means any person or entity using the Platform, including Buyers, Sellers, and visitors.

"Buyer" means a User who purchases seafood products via the Platform. All trade is conducted directly with the Seller off-site on a B2B basis.

"Seller" means a User who offers seafood products for sale via the Platform.

"Transaction" means any purchase, sale, or exchange of seafood products or related services.

"Content" means all text, images, video, data, and other materials made available on the Platform.

"Parties" means SELLFISHGLOBAL and the User collectively.

1. Eligibility

• You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into contracts.
• You must provide accurate and complete registration information.
• Certain features may require identity verification, business registration, or regulatory documentation.

1. Account Registration and Security

• You must keep login credentials confidential.
• You are responsible for all activities under your account.
• We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

1. Use of the Platform

The Platform enables Buyers and Sellers to connect and negotiate transactions. SELLFISHGLOBAL is not a party to transactions unless expressly stated.

You agree to comply with all applicable seafood safety, import/export, labeling, traceability, and environmental laws.

Prohibited conduct includes:

• Listing illegal, endangered, stolen, or mislabelled seafood.
• Misrepresenting species, origin, weight, freshness, or condition.
• Engaging in fraud, collusion, or price manipulation.
• Misusing another user’s data or intellectual property.

1. Listings and Transactions

Sellers are responsible for accuracy and legality of listings, including:

• Species
• Price
• Quantity
• Origin and harvest method
• Certifications (MSC, ASC, HACCP where applicable)

All seafood trades must comply with food safety and import/export regulations.

Payments:
• Escrow or payment services may be offered in the future.
• Buyers and Sellers are responsible for applicable platform fees.

Shipping and Logistics:
• Sellers must comply with cold-chain and packaging requirements.
• Delivery times are estimates and negotiated off-site B2B.
• Risk of loss transfers according to agreed transaction terms.

1. Intellectual Property

All Platform content, logos, trademarks, and software are owned or licensed by SELLFISHGLOBAL. You may not reproduce or distribute content without permission.

By submitting Content, you grant SELLFISHGLOBAL a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use and display such content for platform operations and promotion.

1. Privacy and Data Protection

Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect and process personal data. You must comply with applicable data protection laws when handling user data.

1. Compliance and Safety

• Sellers must comply with food safety and labeling laws.
• Traceability records must be maintained.
• Certification claims must be accurate and documented.

1. Fees and Billing

• Platform fees are described on the Platform.
• You are responsible for applicable taxes.
• Refunds are governed by the Refund Policy.

1. Disputes and Resolution

Disputes between Buyers and Sellers should be resolved off-site on a B2B basis. We may provide mediation tools in the future but do not guarantee product listings.

1. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, SELLFISHGLOBAL is not liable for indirect or consequential damages.

Total liability is limited to the amount paid by you in the 12 months prior to the claim.

1. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless SELLFISHGLOBAL from claims arising from your use of the Platform or violation of these Terms.

1. Termination

• You may stop using the Platform at any time.
• We may suspend or terminate accounts for violations or legal reasons.

1. Changes to the Terms

We may update these Terms periodically. Continued use constitutes acceptance of changes.

1. Third-Party Links

We are not responsible for third-party websites or services linked on the Platform.

1. Export Controls

You must comply with applicable export and sanctions laws.

1. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Kingdom. Disputes shall be resolved in the courts of the United Kingdom unless otherwise required by law.

1. Insurance and Risk Allocation

• Sellers should maintain appropriate liability insurance.
• Optional insurance programs may be offered in the future.

1. Force Majeure

Neither party is liable for delays caused by events beyond reasonable control.

1. Miscellaneous

These Terms form the entire agreement between you and SELLFISHGLOBAL. If any provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain valid.

1. Special Marketplace Provisions

• Sellers must verify species authenticity and regulatory compliance.
• Traceability documentation may be required.
• Sustainability claims must be accurate and not misleading.

1. Communications Preferences

You agree to receive service-related communications. You may opt out of marketing messages where permitted by law.

1. Data Deletion and Account Decommission

You may request account deletion in accordance with applicable data protection laws. Certain records may be retained for legal compliance.
